SETup — Tutorial
Bulk Windows deployment for karate competitions: static IPs, software installs, system tuning, and PointPanel Scoring System hookup — from one GUI. Click any section to expand it.
SETup configures every PC on the competition floor the same way, fast. One run per machine handles:
- Network — static IP derived from subnet + group + PC selection
- Software — installs everything you drop into
to_install/ - System — firewall off, never-sleep maximum-performance power plan, wallpaper, extended displays, 1920×1080, taskbar on main display only, max volume, Windows Update paused for 14 days, Bluetooth off, bloatware startup apps off (full detail in section 07)
- Identity — optional computer rename with a
{T}tatami template - PointPanel — deploys the JAR and (via SETprops) writes the SET-OVR connection properties
- Database — the Server PC gets the event database and the SET logins, and every PC is pointed at it, so SET-OVR opens straight into the event
- SETtray — on Scoring PCs a tray icon starts the SET PSS UDP Sender and opens the kumite clicker port whenever SET-OVR starts
Everything is driven from master_run.exe. All tools self-elevate to Administrator and write logs to logs/.
